Michelle is a Utah Valley native, a wife, and a mother to two daughters. She enjoys living near the mountains, the changing seasons, and the food at Cafe Rio. When she can find time, she likes to read, bake, and be outdoors—but usually, she is having fun taking care of her kids or torturing them with her terrible singing.
Her work as a Family Nurse Practitioner is shaped by her motto to leave people better than she found them. She was drawn to pediatrics because she is a kid-at-heart that likes to be silly, laugh, and have a good time.
Michelle is especially passionate about exercise, nutrition, and mental health issues like anxiety and depression. She enjoys working with all ages, but finds it refreshing to work with kids between two and five because they aren’t worried about what anyone thinks of them. She makes it her mission to make kids feel comfortable and confident, even if they have a tough time communicating their feelings.
Michelle is the best quesadilla maker, a fact that has been verified by her oldest daughter.
