Continuing our new series of discussions called Talk With A Doc: Preparing For Your New Baby, our second event is happening on Monday, October 21st at 7 p.m. in the Utah Valley Pediatrics’ Payson office.

Welcoming a new baby comes with new demands, lots of things to learn, and some pretty incredible changes. Designed to help expecting mothers to keep their infants healthy, our Talk With a Doc events make is easy to get your questions answered. 

Free to expecting moms and dads, Dr. Kevin Nelson will answer common newborn questions, like “How soon can I take my infant out into public?” and “What is normal sleeping for a newborn?” He will also identify signs of critical health issues every parent should be aware of, including SIDS, weight loss, difficulty breathing, high temperatures, rashes, and color changes.

Attendees can expect free refreshments, a free diaper-bag backpack, and an office tour. There will also be a lactation specialist on hand to answer questions.
