Help your little ones get their alphabet down cold while also enjoying a healthy snack. Kids go crazy for these because they taste like ice cream, but they are just low-fat yogurt. And even better, they are absurdly easy to make.

They also make feeding yogurt to your toddler a lot less messy!

What You Will Need

  • Yogurt (preferably without any fruit bits)
  • Wax paper
  • Cookie sheet
  • Frosting tip and bag or large medicine syringe.

Place the wax paper on the cookie sheet. Attach your frosting tip to the bag and fill the bag with yogurt. You’re ready to start writing on the wax paper!

You can do it yourself or you can let your kids practice writing their letters. Sometimes it is less messy for kids to use a large medicine syringe to write with. You can just do letters, or you can have fun with flowers, hearts, robots, etc.

Once you are done, place the cookie sheet carefully in your freezer and wait about 45 to 60 minutes. Once they are frozen solid, pop them off the wax paper and enjoy. You can also store them in a zip lock bag and place them back in the freezer to enjoy later.

If you are in a hurry, you can also just open your container of yogurt a tiny bit and squeeze small dots of yogurt onto the wax paper. This also works well if you want to try some yogurt with bits of fruit in it.
