Annie is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and specializes in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Her special interests include neonatal care, exercise and nutrition, and dermatology. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a NICU nurse for 10 years and has extensive experience with newborns and infants. Annie loves the relationships she builds with patients and their families.
Annie grew up in Alpine, Utah. She loves Utah for its national parks and mountains. The availability of year-round outdoor activities is perfect for Annie, who loves running, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and snowboarding. She’s a wife and a mother of three, and though free time is scarce, she likes to cook, read, coach and play soccer, and spend time with her friends and family.
Annie’s care philosophy is simple: children, their parents, and their healthcare providers must all work together to ensure the best possible health outcomes. This team-oriented spirit serves Annie well, as does her happy personality. She enjoys joking around and getting to know her patients and strives to form a strong, trusting relationship with each of the patients and families she cares for.
