Kelsee Dooley, D.O.

Biography

Kelsee grew up in Orem, Utah and earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Utah Valley University. Medical school took her across the country, first to Iowa and then to Ohio for residency where she spent a lot of time working with kids of all ages in the hospital. Those interactions highlighted how fun and meaningful working with kids can be and, although her experiences in Ohio and Iowa were wonderful, Dr. Dooley wanted to get back home to Utah.

From a young age, fate determined that Dr. Dooley should spend a lot of time in medical settings, one way or another. She was accident-prone as a kid and spent more time than most in doctor’s offices and hospitals. In spite of that, Dr. Dooley remembers hospitals with fondness, every experience having been a positive one, despite the bumps and bruises. That’s the impact of compassionate healthcare and it’s what she strives for with every patient.

She says that working with kids is a special opportunity to build long-standing relationships that can impact the health of a child for the better, for decades to come. The stickers and popsicles are just an added bonus!

Dr. Dooley loves taking an every day activity and making it a little more fun. For instance, she loves taking her son to the grocery store and zooming down the aisles with her feet on the cart.

“I believe in learning more, doing more, and being more. The more I grow as a physician, the more I can provide to my patients to make sure they're getting the help they need.”
