Melissa is a Utah County native and a mother to three. She enjoys all the activities and changing seasons that Utah offers, as well as travel, music, hiking, and spending time with her family. Through those family adventures, she’s also picked up photography, graphic design, and cooking skills.
Melissa’s path to pediatrics caught her by surprise. Though she always wanted to be a nurse, it was during school that she realized how much she loved working with kids and youth. With her perspective as a mom, she seeks to help parents through the adventures of raising their kids at every age.
Melissa approaches pediatrics with a patient-focused mindset. Understanding that every child is unique and has individualized needs means knowing that each patient needs individual attention.
Melissa never knew she needed a dog until she got a Goldendoodle.
