Utah Valley Pediatrics Awarded Recognition by NCQA

“NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition raises the bar in defining high-quality care by emphasizing access, health information technology and coordinated care focused on patients,” said NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane. “Recognition shows that Utah Valley Pediatrics has the tools, systems, and resources to provide its patients with the right care, at the right time.”

We’re pleased to announce that each of our eight offices has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

What’s the NCQA?

The NCQA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. They recognize the vital role clinicians play in advancing quality and their programs are built on nationally-recognized clinical standards of care.

What Does This Mean to My Family?

We’ve been recognized under the NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home program. The standards for this program reflect the input of several major medical associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Only a handful of pediatric practices across the entire state of Utah have been awarded this recognition, so it means our pediatricians and staff aren’t just friendly and smart—they’re working hard behind the scenes to provide the best possible care and stay on the cutting edge of medical technology and standards.

Wait, What About Our Other Doctors?

The NCQA publishes all their recognitions online. So, if you want to check on your Orthopedist or O.B., visit the NCQA online.
