Becoming a nurse practitioner wasn’t just luck for Jaclyn. With three siblings who are also nurses, she suspects it may run in their blood. After thirteen years as Registered Nurse in labor and delivery, Jaclyn wanted to do more. Because she’s passionate about both being a patient advocate but also providing exceptional care and service, she returned to school to become a nurse practitioner.
As a mom to four kids, not working with children was never an option. She likes to sing, dance, and “be a goofball,” which she says makes treating kids and being their health advocate a natural fit.
Jaclyn is excited about the relationships she forms with her patients and their families and excited about the skills she brings into pediatrics from her time as a nurse.”I’ve been able to help many women with breastfeeding,” she says about her hospital experience. “I’d love to offer a consultation to any mom in our office having a hard time.” Though she likes to bake, Jaclyn says she’s better at making a huge mess than making dinner. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and playing with her kids, and dating her husband.
After growing up playing softball, Jaclyn was excited to start dating another baseball fan. She just didn't know he cheered for the Redsox. She married him anyway.
